S.2 - E.5 - Healing Ourselves and the World with Audrey Darrow

Summary:

In this episode, we are interviewing Audrey Darrow, CEO and Owner of Righteously Raw Chocolates, who shares with us her breast cancer healing journey which started in 2006.

After having surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation she started working at a Health Food Store in San Diego, California in order to get a 15% discount on healthy foods which she believed would help her to become cancer-free. Through her health journey, she started Righteously Raw Chocolates in 2007, a line of raw, organic chocolate desiring to create healthy food that was delicious and affordable. In July 2008 her daughter Jaymie passed away in a drowning accident. Instead of falling to negativity, she continued to draw on her energy as fuel to keep Righteously Raw moving forward.

Audrey shares with us how she made it through breast cancer and the loss of her 20-year-old daughter, how food helped her heal herself, and explains how we always have the choice to change the dial from our negative thoughts to start creating a better life.

Show Notes:

  • There is such an amazing connection between what we put in our bodies and what is happening in the world.

  • What do I have to do to be cancer free “Stay away from white sugar”.

  • The night that my daughter had the drowning accident I got a message from her saying, “Its going to be ok”.

  • I knew that every action that I would take in my life from that moment on was going to affect her.

  • My body is so in tune with what I put inside it.

  • I see people watching the news and being filled out with the negativity and the fear, they have to realize that they are hurting the body so much.

  • You can either wake up in the morning and be afraid you are going to die because you have cancer or you can make a choice, and change the radio station from 99.3 to 99.4.

  • You can make a choice to change the dial if you have anything going in your life that is difficult.

  • If you don’t change the dial, you make the choice and then the responsibility will fall back on you.

  • When I was diagnosed with  cancer I made the choice of changing the dial. Women have a very high risk of breast cancer because they lost their way of nurturing themselves. They nurture boyfriends, husbands, friends, families, dogs,  children, and forget about themselves.

  • I have the power within me, I have so much power in my own life to control. Who we are, how we are and how we think, can be changed with what I put in my body.

  • Gary Zucav – The Seat of the Soul “the roommate in your head”. You wouldn’t be with a roommate that would be treating you badly so you can all so change the negative roommate in our head too.

  • Audrey Darrow describes very clearly how we all have the choice to change the dial and raise our vibrations,“It takes practice and its fun.” “It’s way more fun than listening to your roommates voice.”
